Asthma and prevention of Asthma Attacks

A person with Asthma has fits or attacks of difficulty in breathing.
Signs to Elicit from a person having Asthma;
*Listen for a hissing or wheezing sound especially when breathing out
*When breathing in ,the skin behind his collar bones and between his ribs may suck as he tries to get air
*Notice how he speaks,if he cannot finish a sentence in one breath,the attack is very severe
*He may be too breathless to get up from lying or sitting down
*If he cannot get enough air,his nails and lips may turn blue and there is usually absence of Fever

Preventive measures to adopt in aiding a person with an Asthma condition;
*A person with Asthma should avoid eating or breathing things that bring on attacks
*The house or work place should be kept clean.
*Do not let Chickens or other Animals inside
*prevent bats nesting in the roof space
*Put bedding out to air in Sunshine
*Sometimes it helps to sleep outside in the Open air
*Avoid Chemical fumes,industrial dusts,paint sprays and Pesticides
